Biography: 

Abdul Hamid (born 1 January 1944) is a Bangladeshi politician. He is currently the 21st President of Bangladesh (17th as an individual). He assumed the duties of the 21st President for a second term on 7 February 2018. 


Education: 

Abdul Hamid passed the Matriculation from Nikhli GC High School. He obtained both an IA and BA degrees from Gurudayal College of Kishoregonj and an LLB degree from Central Law College under the University of Dhaka. After completing his education, he engaged himself in the profession of law.


Message: 

"As the number of students has increased over time, so has the scope of its infrastructure and educational activities. Competition has also been internationalized for the benefit of modern science and information technology. So, every student has to attain international standards along with degrees. Besides, the country and the people invest in educating them. The students have to acquire the ability to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the family, the country, and the people. Higher educational institutions, including universities, have to come forward to enhance the quality of education and the capacity of students, taking into account the needs and qualifications of the national and international labor market."
