Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid

Dr. Mamunur Rashid has completed B.Sc. from Dhaka University in 1977. He also completed his M.Sc. from Dhaka University in Applied Physics & Electronics in 1979. He pursued his Ph.D. study and research in Electronics & Instrumentation for Nuclear Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan and awarded the degree in 1994. Dr. Rashid has served as a Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Physical Science Division in Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), Dhaka. He also served in University of South Asia, Dhaka as a Professor of CSE and Dean of School of Engineering. He has published 36 research papers including 13 in international journals.

Sadia Sultana

Sadia Sultana received her B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) and M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering (TE) from East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 respectively. She achieved “Megna Cum Laude” award in undergraduate as well as four times awarded with “Merit Scholarship” in undergraduate and postgraduate for excellent academic performance.

Research Arena:     Computer Networks, Wireless Communication, Ultra-Wideband System, Underwater Sensor Networks and Internet of Things (IoT).

Anirban Sarkar

Anirban Sarkar received his B.Sc. degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) and M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering (TE) from East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 respectively. He awarded with “Medha Lalon Scholarship” in postgraduate program for excellence academic performance. He was an active member of Engineering Student’s Association of Bangladesh (ESAB).

Research Arena: Computer Networks, Networks Security, Information Theory, Wireless Communication, Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things (IoT).

Md. Bulbul Ahammed
Lecturer
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Md. Bulbul Ahammedhas completed his B.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Business
& Technology (BUBT) on Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He took Communication
as his major course during his under-graduation degree. Now he teaches Electronics &
Communication related courses like Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetic Theory
and Electronics 2 etc. in IUS. He achieved four times awarded with““Merit Scholarship”” in undergraduate for excellent academic performance. He has four years of teaching experience in different colleges under BTEB & National University. He was involved in formulation of Question Paper of BTEB.

Research Arena:
Wireless Communication, LTE.

Kalyan Mondol

Kalyan Mondol received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering(EEE) from East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2015 and M.S. degree in Renewable Energy Technology (RET) from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2019.

Research Arena: Photovoltaic devices and systems, PWM and MPPT solar charge controller, Energy
storage. Modeling, Simulation and characterization of semiconductor devices.
