Electrical and Electronic Engineering is concerned with the design, research, fabrication, development, planning of systems and devices anticipating on power generation, transmission & distribution, data transmission, computing system for easy human life amelioration. Electrical and electronic devices are most useful elements for modern society developments and the computation world make it easy to allying with human-machine interaction. Electrical engineer will be responsible for research, technology analysis, system & device design and manufacturing, modern wireless communication system, RF & microwave, optical-fiber communication, tele-communication, radio & television engineering, control systems, signal processing, computer network, microprocessor, instrumentations, integrated circuit & devices, electronic machines, power system, renewable energy and many other application arenas.
Currently, we have regular and diploma students who are pursuing their bachelor’s program (B.Sc.) in the department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. This B.Sc. program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is designed with foundational & advanced courses and to provide basic engineering knowledge to keep pace with competitive world. IUS provides advanced laboratories with faculty members to cope up with the modern challenges in the field of Circuits, Electronics and Devices, Power Engineering, Computers and Communication Engineering.
IUS promulgates engineering education through prescribed curriculum, approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accepted by international as well as national bodies. It has the knowledge and wisdom of engineering discoveries and innovations spanning a period of a few years or so. As such, the study of electrical engineering is fulfilling and at the same time challenging. It requires students of better than average capabilities. An excellent faculty team has been engaged to nurture its students. In summary, the bachelor’s program is well established and tenable. IUS EEE is committed to provide quality education.
Bachelor’s Program (B.Sc.) has been designed with four years including courses, sessional, assignments, project & thesis.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) of School of Engineering have rich laboratories to conduct practical classes and research activities. The laboratories are well equipped with modern teaching aids. Brand equipment and Instruments from England, Italy, Germany, Japan and Taiwan are used to conduct practical classes. Sufficient number of measuring instruments such as digital storage oscilloscope, Analogue oscilloscope, watt-meters, power supply (AC. & DC,) signal generator, frequency counter, trainer boards, tachometers, ammeters (AC.& DC), voltmeters (AC.& DC), microprocessor trainer kits, energy meter, digital multi-meters, ICs, resistors, bread boards, inductors, capacitors, digital and analogue trainer boards resistors and supporting accessories are available to conduct practical classes.

DC Current and Voltage Measurement, Ohm’s Law, Power in DC Circuit Measurement, Series -Parallel Network and Kirchhoff’s Law, Superposition Theorem, Thevinin’s Theorem, Norton’s Theorem, Maximum Power transfer Theorem, Reciprocity Theorem, DC- RC Circuit and Transient Phenomena.
Alternating Current Circuit Experiments

The purpose of IUS faculty of engineering education is to fast track the learning of students in area of electrical, computer science & textile engineering so that they can take their place in the community and contribute in the human endeavor for a better and fulfilling living. In national context, International University of Scholars (IUS) has been at the forefront in this effort and it is now recognized as the rising institution for Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering is now providing quality education to undergrad students. The number of students is increasing with every intake, and there is a demand from students for a place in the Faculty of Engineering.
IUS imparts engineering and technology education through prescribed curriculum, which has been approved by the University Grants Commission of the Govt. of Bangladesh. This curriculum is as par with that at other national universities. As such, the study of any discipline under the Faculty of Engineering is fulfilling and at the same time challenging. It requires students of better than average capabilities. IUS has recognized from the very beginning that these students need and deserve better than average facilities and environment for their optimum development. As such, an excellent faculty team has been engaged to nurture its students, at the same time laboratories with the state of the art equipment has been built for imparting quality training to these students.
