পিঠা উৎসব ১৪৩০

Last Friday, January 26, 2024, the University of Scholars Campus hosted the Winter Pitha-Puli Festival. The festival is held from 2 pm to 7 pm. The festival was held at Campus House No-95, Block-B, Road No-04, Banani, Dhaka-1213.

In the said festival, students make different kinds of pithas and give stalls. Also, Ananya also makes pithas and gives stalls. There were a total of 9 stalls in the entire festival. Parents along with students also participated in the festival. The entire festival was filled with the joy of the guests.

The winter pitha-puli festival was attended by some dignitaries. They are: Admiral Muhammad Farid Habib (Retd), Chairman BOT, Mr. Md. Ariful Haque, Vice Chairman BOT, Mr. Abdul Hasib Siddique, Member BOT, Professor Dr. Enamul Bashar, VC (recruited), Prof. Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid, VC (Acting), Capt. Mobashwer Ali Khandkar, PSC, BN (Retd.), Registrar.

At the festival, the guests appreciated the students by eating pitha-puli. They said that the students have made pitha-puli very beautifully. It is a unique aspect of our culture.

Through the said festival students can get familiar with their traditional culture. Also, they can express their creativity.
