Fashion design is a creative and ever-evolving field that involves the art of designing clothes and accessories. It includes idea generation, design and production of one-of-a-kind, aesthetically pleasing garments that reflect a person's personal style and current trends. The world of fashion design is dynamic, constantly evolving and influenced by cultural shifts, societal changes and technological advancements. It embraces diversity, encourages experimentation and celebrates individuality. From haute couture to ready-to-wear, streetwear to sustainable fashion, fashion design offers endless possiblities for self-expression, creativity and innovation. 

Course Objectives:

1. Understand the fundamentals of fashion design, including design principles, colour theory, and garments construction.
2. Develop skills in sketching, fashion illustration, and rendering techniques.
3. Gain knowledge of fashion trends, historical influences, and forecasting techniques.
4. Explore the basics of fashion business, including branding, marketing, and merchandising.
