With my degree and practical knowledge from serving as a Merchandizing Intern and an IE Executive, I aim to create an engaging learning environment, contribute to research, and prepare students for the wave of 4th industrial revolution while promoting innovation, sustainability.

1. Rafi, Abu & Karim, Md & Islam, Tarikul. (2021). Promoting Sustainability by Examining the Possibility of Using Bio-Mordants in Natural Coloration with Teak Dye Extract.
   This study aimed to enhance sustainability in dyeing processes by using natural teak sawdust dye and replacing conventional metallic mordants with bio-mordants like aloe vera and banana sap. Various dyeing parameters were examined, resulting in improved color fastness properties, demonstrating the potential for sustainable dyeing practices. (Link)

2. Chowdhury, N. H., Rafi, A. S., Siddika, S., Kibria, G., & Islam, T. (2020). SWOT Analysis of Bangladeshi Apparel Industries Compared to Global Market and a Comprehensive Scenario.
   A comparative SWOT analysis of the apparel industry in China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh reveals that while Bangladesh's sector is satisfactory, competitors are rapidly improving. The study highlights the need for immediate and sustained efforts to enhance competitiveness, focusing on compliance, GDP, and green factory initiatives. (Link)

3. Hanif, M. F., Sadia, H. T., Chaion, M. H., Rafi, M. A. S., Uddin, M. J., Islam, T., & Repon, M. R. (2020). Quality improvement in readymade garments industry by traffic light system. Journal of Textile Engineering & Fashion Technology, 6(3), 90-93.
   A project in a ready-made garment manufacturing industry aimed to reduce apparel waste and improve product quality by implementing a traffic light system. This initiative decreased daily defect rates from 4.13 to 1.25 pieces, leading to increased monthly production and reduced defects, ultimately enhancing profitability. (Link)
